An isotropic sound field model composed of a finite number of plane waves

چکیده

Isotropy is a fundamental property of diffuse sound field. Although several studies have proposed an isotropy indicator to quantify the extent field, what not yet very clear how interpret quantified using these indicators. This study aims contribute understanding by (i) modifying existing based on spherical harmonic expansion and (ii) presenting isotropic field model composed finite number plane waves. Theoretical numerical investigations show that limited-degree can be established model.

investigating the feasibility of a proposed model for geometric design of deployable arch structures

deployable scissor type structures are composed of the so-called scissor-like elements (sles), which are connected to each other at an intermediate point through a pivotal connection and allow them to be folded into a compact bundle for storage or transport. several sles are connected to each other in order to form units with regular polygonal plan views. the sides and radii of the polygons are...

Sziklai's conjecture on the number of points of a plane curve over a finite field III

In the paper [11], Sziklai posed a conjecture on the number of points of a plane curve over a finite field. Let C be a plane curve of degree d over Fq without an Fq-linear component. Then he conjectured that the number of Fq-points Nq(C) of C would be at most (d− 1)q+1. But he had overlooked the known example of a curve of degree 4 over F4 with 14 points ([10], [1]). So we must modify this conj...
